Alimentaria is the world’s leading event for the food and beverage industry. It brings together professionals from around the world to discover the latest trends, innovations and products in the sector. This year, in its 24th edition, it brought together more than 3,200 companies, including 900 foreign ones, and more than 150,000 professional visitors. The event stood out for presenting the latest innovations and trends in the food industry, as well as for facilitating networking and business opportunities among participants. With a focus on the internationalization of the sector, Alimentaria is considered a key platform for learning about new products, consumer trends and distribution channels. Its importance lies in being a meeting point for professionals in the food, beverage and food service sectors, promoting innovation and the exchange of knowledge in the industry.
And how could it be otherwise, Ecolecera has participated in this edition Alimentaria 2024, occupying a place in Hall 5 of the Barcelona Fair, in a specific space where the Ministry of Agriculture grouped a sample of organic producers from different Spanish provinces.
Together with other organic producers, we were in a space where visitors could learn first hand about products and activities in organic production. Pulses, pasta and wine were the most requested products and those that generated the most interest this year.

In addition, this year the representation of Aragon has included two exhibition spaces: one of 210 square meters that housed ten producers under the umbrella of Aragon Alimentos Nobles, and another dedicated to twenty culinary demonstrations to promote Aragonese products and differentiated quality figures. .
